Sleep Gorgeous Sleep
Woke up yesterday at 4.45am!To say hello to Wings Athletics Invitational Meet '08!

But damn,was it early...Stuffed myself with energy boosting fruits to start the day.

Adrenaline-pumped we were when we reached CCK stadium,but the gate was closed!So we waited outside.

1st track event to kick start the meet was the 400m hurdles run.The weather could not be any more perfect for warm up.

Kept my cool at the line and left destiny into the hands of God.

I emerged 3rd in my heat,3rd overall.Not bad,I'm happy with my run,but I could have done better though.

My next event was 100m Hurdles at 2.25pm but this time,it was Sizzling!I sound like a whiny ol' granmama beside Jacob,lamenting about the horrible effect of global warming."It's soooo hot.It's sooo hot..." lol

At the sound of the gun,never would I have expected my trail knee to hit the 1st hurdle,ouch!I've never hit any hurdle before!Ah well,came in 2nd in my heat and 5th overall.Rah,not bad lah.I swear I'm gonna climb up the list!

And...you've guessed it,the rest of the day was still..."It's sooo hot.It's sooo hot..."

Returned home to the expanse of my oh so comfy bed.Watched TV for a while.Now I know why Mr Heng's eyes are always glued on to CNN...I witnessed a space shuttle land!In Florida!Well,it's pretty much like a normal plane,really...booo

Turned off the TV and sank my heavy head into my pillow when my eye lids could no longer withstand the almighty sand man.

Boy,has sleepin' never been so good...!
