9.69s Bolt of Lightning.
I'm afraid the speed of light is no longer 300m/s.
It's 100/9.69s!
It was just so exhilerating watching the 100m Finals.So full of suspense!Initially thought that Usain Bolt'll be too tense since he's young and callow.Watching him posing for the camera just before the race as his name was announced just added question marks above my head.Is he being a lil' too relaxed???
But no he wasn't!The more relaxed the better,and that's the success formula to break the 100m Men's World Record.
Felt like slapping him for the 4th time again when he looked left and right just 20m or so before the line and extended his arms in celebration and ending the race with a slam on his chest as he hopped his way through,over the moon.He was leading by a hell lotta distance!
Who knows,the record might be further broken,if he hadn't celebrated too early.
But,gotta admire his relaxness.
Before the 100m Semifinals,as the runners proceeded to the 100m line,there were an official standing behind at each lane behind the line.Usain Bolt's was this girl.And as he walked past her,he tapped her shoulder and walked the other way.And she fell for it!
