Monday marks the end of anxiety,but also the beginning of hell-'O' levels English Oral.It was kinda "Woohoo FInally"-relief kinda feeling.
While sitting down at the waiting area,I kept reading passages from my Oral book (to soothe my racing heart).So much so,that when I advanced to the examiners,my tone in the beginning was quite sian (or that's what I thought).Fortunately,after I finished the passage,she praised me,"Good!".
On to the picture,I actually forgot the three words "OLD FOLKS' HOME!".I thought of it at the practice table,but when I got there,I forgot!It's like my brain dumped it in the recycle bin and deleted it!
After english oral was German Prelims Oral.I read the passage without knowing what it was about haha!I was kinda stunned by the first question of the conversation."Wo wohnst du?" (Where do you live?) That's like our sec 1 oral question lah...But overall,it was good.
Penal Pencil
Our first four boards for 'O' level Art Coursework were due on Friday for Ms Rai to check,so I slogged my heart,guts,liver,spleen out to get it done.So that Thursday evening was pretty much sketch sketch sketch,type type type,print print print,arrange arrange arrange,paste paste paste,dinner...,sketch sketch sketch,type type type,print print print print,arrange arrange arrange,paste paste paste paste.
All the wayyyy til 1+am!I officially broke the late night record on a school night.
Teacher Torture.
The next day happened to beTeachers Day Clebration.Didn't had time to wrap presents the night before because of...yeah,so! my very efficient mother also got her artistic hands working-to help me wrap gifts.
That morning,we were searching high and low for Mrs Chew,our form teacher and Math teacher.We later found out she was playing volleyball at the tennis court lol!
After assembly,we went to look for her at her staff room,and the volleyballers surprised her with this super humongous huggable doggy soft toy.
I think she was touched,yeah,I think she was touched.Cos she kept shaking our hands and thanking us and "Erm"-ing.Could see she was fighting back her tears.
After our first two periods and long combined recess,we headed to the hall.The councilors invited a few teachers to play games lol hilarious affair.Then they showed items of our teachers and we had to guess to whom they belong to!Then,they gave out The Most ___ Teacher Award.Yay,Mrs Chua won the most beautiful teacher award!She was blushing like a red tomato.
Then,thanks to James ingenious idea,we chipped in money to help order Pizzas for Mrs Chew for lunch!Well,ok,it was pretty much for us,since we ate most of it wahahaha.Yummy.
After filling my stomach,I went to the Art Room for more art.....
Seoul much fun
Later that day,Besties met up (FINALLY) for a much waited,deserved dinner at Seoul Garden.
Caterpillars turn to butterflies,seeds turn to plants and tides vary (Haha wth?);but some things never change...Like how I always am the first to reach and have to spent a long time waiting for the rest.And Juanne will come next to accompany me.
Anyways,the guys table was a meaty affair while the girls' a more exotic and seafood affair.I'm in the middle.
Jiacai and Justin tested their culinary skills and tried to grill a chicken omelette.But it ended up a carbon chicken omelette-all the carbon flakes on the grill got mixed together.
Jiacai told us a joke:
Have you heard the news?An Indian man went for facial and died.You know why?
Because he asked to remove his black head!
HAHAHAHAHAHA
The winners of the big appetite award are Juanne and I;last eaters surviving,and still going.
I swear every table at Seoul Garden that night had a birthday boy/girl.Almost every table sang a birthday song!haha Including ours!
Juanne,Jiacai and I went to make ice cream in the form of the first letters of Yiyin's and Qiulin's names.Juanne's 'Y' was not bad!I found out Q was quite impossible,so I made a flower instead,with a spring roll (Jiacai's idea) for the stem and kidney beans for the leaves.
Rest assured,Yiyin and Qiulin,we'll throw an official birthday celebration for you some day.We're just too busy now.Sorry!
